SEO

Solodev comes with a number of tools to boost your SEO ranking and site visibility and help better market your website organically. Among these tools are extremely easy ways to add page-specific, site-specific, and social meta data as well as the dynamic creation of SEO-friendly URLs - all of which can be used without the need for coding knowledge.

Website Meta Information

Open the root of your website by clicking the globe icon next to your domain name. Click Update Website.

Click on the Meta Information Tab below and the accordion will expand. You can add your Global HTML tag as well as any header inserts you want included on every page of your website. As you can see below, I declared HTML and included jQuery and Bootstrap CSS and JavaScript on my entire site.

Page Meta Information

In addition to the meta information dynamically generated by your website you can add meta information to different pages within your site. On any given page in Solodev, simply toggle over from the Content tab to the Meta Information Tab and start adding meta data to your page.

The Meta Information tab allows you to easily add a page title, publish and expiration date, and rank to the page. Solodev also dynamically pulls the form fields and text areas and populates the meta information you place in these fields on a page-by-page basis.

SEO-friendly URLs

Solodev dynamically pulls from the 'name' field of each web page and creates an SEO-friendly URL without any appended or prepended IDs and provides a URL structure that is optimized for SEO. 

In the above below the URL will remain the same as it is in the name field as shown below.

Experiments

Experiments allow you to serve up variations of the same web page to different users, allowing you to A/B test pages against each other and see which pages have the highest conversion rates. Easily add experiments and select the iterations of the page you would like to A/B test.

Scheduler

Schedule content to publish to your web pages and set when certain pieces of content go live or are removed from pages throughout your website. Simply add entries to your scheduler, set publish and end dates/times for each piece of content and add the scheduler to where you would like the content to change on your page. Solodev will automatically publish and remove content according to your schedule, serving up different pieces of content based on the date and time.

Forms

Use our drag and drop form builder to create forms for placement across your website and connect your forms to a datatable that collects all form submissions, allowing you to capture leads and trigger actions on form submission such as email automation, asset downloads, tickler emails, etc.

Inline Editing

With Solodev, you no longer need to wait on your IT or development team to make content changes to your website. Whether it's switching out an image, replacing text, or adding entries to a module, no coding knowledge is required. In order to make content edits on the fly simply click on the area of the page you'd like to edit and click on "Inline Edit" to make edits directly on the page or click "Open FILENAME" to make edits in the original file.

Workflows

Solodev allows you to create custom workflows that trigger certain actions when certain conditions are met. For example, if a site visitor fills out a form and they name their source as "social media" you can create a custom workflow that triggers an email specific to them. Alternately, if a site visitor fills out a form and specifies a product or service they are interested in, you can trigger a series of actions based on that condition.
